Upon arrival at Coton House Farm you are greeted by fabulous views of our meadow, which surrounds the Oak Terrace on two sides. When you are planning a wedding in such a beautiful location, the vista is part of the appeal – particularly if you are planning an outdoor wedding.

Our large oak-beamed terrace stands at the entrance to The Oak Barn. Beautifully designed to blend warm yellows, calming creams and plenty of greenery for a relaxed feel, throughout the day it’s a bright and airy place to mingle with guests.

Throw open the full-length terrace doors on warm summer days and let the country air flow right through The Oak Barn to The Pig Sty – a truly indoor-outdoor wedding. In case of a change in the weather, the terrace is roofed and provides plenty of seating for guests to enjoy the outdoors throughout the day. And, being fully licensed, it’s a beautiful option for your wedding ceremony on days where a little cover may be necessary.

The large, grassed area is ideal for children to run about freely throughout the day. Enjoy a game of croquet or giant Jenga on the lawn – as entertaining for adults as for children – while fencing around the outside of the courtyard separates guests from the horses parading and playing in the grassy meadow next door.

As night falls and the outside fairy lights come on, the terrace is a magical spot to take a breather from dancing, or even for romance to bud amongst the guests – another wedding tradition! Our rural location gives you complete privacy from distant neighbours as you celebrate your first evening of married life.
