Meet
The Family

Husband & wife team Darren and Helen launched their wedding business in 2015 with the aspiration to provide an authentic, personal approach to hosting weddings.

Coton House Farm is a real family business, it’s a working farm with a far-reaching history that is evident from the moment you arrive. Darren and Helen are the perfect hosts, sharing their farm with the couples and their families that choose to get married with them. Darren, Helen, Patrick, Zara, Niamh and Lughaidh will give you the warmest welcome.

The wedding venue prides itself on offering a simple pricing structure to allow couples to maintain control over the all-important budget. We offer the venue hire, and food and beverage packages together, so that keeps everything nice and simple.

“We know that weddings are expensive and things begin to add up very quickly when planning your day. Sometimes keeping to your budget, and still see your dreams come to life can be tricky, so we want to ensure that our couples know their costs upfront, as soon as they have chosen their menu package.”

We walk all of our couples through the venue and planning process and discuss exactly how they would like the day to flow, so that we can take as much of the pressure away from them on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly, allowing each couple to focus on the most important part of the day – creating memories.

The majority of staff who work at Coton House Farm came to us as junior horse riders. They have remained with us as staff and have grown with us as part of the Coton House Farm Family. They all take pride in what we do and will take great pleasure in helping to make your event very special. We aim for the highest of standards, providing excellence, integrity, service, quality, honesty and value, charm and cheekiness. We hold these as our core values.

“So many wedding venues lose that personal touch when they become blueprints for each other. We saw an opportunity to offer something different at Coton House Farm – a far more individual experience, where our couples can bring their own personalities into the details. No two weddings are ever the same here, and that’s what we wanted to create.”

“We love getting to know the couples we work with, understanding their personalities and helping to bring their ideas to life. We feel very honoured to be part of their wedding day”.
