Meet The Wedding Coordinator's
Our family values are the glue of Coton House Farm. Our coordinators are the glitter that makes us shine that little bit brighter.
Lydia, Louisa, Maggie & Megan are not only on hand to act as a point of call and comfort when planning your wedding, but to integrate into your entire experience, as a stagehand behind the scenes, sorting any issues before they arise and allowing you to enjoy the magic.
When you book your wedding with us, our experienced team of wedding coordinators will be there to guide and support you every step of the way. From planning and organization to answering your questions, our coordinators will ensure everything stays seamless and stress-free. They’ll keep track of all the details, so nothing is ever missed or outdated.

My favourite thing about being a wedding coordinator is…
There is something so special about people coming together at weddings to celebrate the love between two people. The speeches are one of my favourite times of the day, listening to stories of the newlyweds and their hopes for the future.
Coton is special because…
Our venue is absolutely stunning. One of the many things that makes Coton House Farm special is how environmentally friendly our venue is. From running on 100% renewable energy, to our farm to fork initiative sourcing local produce where we can, Coton House Farm is committed to being a sustainable venue. I feel so lucky to be able to work somewhere that has such a commitment to the environment and looking after its beautiful surroundings.
My something blue would be…
My birthstone is a Sapphire so this would be my something blue! I would have it in my jewellery or incorporate it into my bouquet.

My favourite thing about being a wedding coordinator is…
The opportunity to create unforgettable moments for couples on one of the most significant days of their lives!
It is incredibly rewarding to see a vision come to life, from the intricate details of the decorations to the joyous atmosphere filled with love and celebration. Being apart of this experience makes my role truly special.

My favourite thing about being a wedding coordinator is…
Seeing how the room creates a different atmosphere and displays an eye into the couple’s personalities is something really special. Also, witnessing them walk down the aisle to their future is a part which I adore.
Coton is special because…
As we are a family business, we have a personal, caring and homely feel which we like to pass to our guests when they come to visit us. This also means that we are very honest and totally transparent from the beginning which I really stand for. I always feel welcomed when coming into work and I hope that our lovely guests feel the same way.
My something blue would be…
My nana had a little blue bow which she pinned on the underskirt of her dress. She then passed it down to my mum who did the same thing. So my something blue would be that little bow so I can carry them both with me on my big day.

My favourite thing about being a wedding coordinator is…
Getting to learn all about each couple and what their dream day means to them is one of the best parts of the job. The joy of seeing everything come together and being able to play a small part of their big day is extremely fulfilling! I also love helping each couple work out every tiny detail of their wedding and making their planning process as stress free as possible.
Coton is special because…
From the minute you arrive for your first visit to the wedding day itself, Coton House Farm provides a genuine warm, family feel. Everyone who works here has a passion for helping couples achieve their perfect day and that passion is reflected in every wedding we have! I also love that our venue is tucked away in a peaceful part of Whittington as it provides a calm and tranquil environment.

Meet The Founders
Husband and wife team Darren and Helen first launched their wedding business back in 2015 with aspirations of providing a unique and rustic venue, with a personal approach.
As a working farm, Coton House Farm is a real family business with a far-reaching history that is evident from the moment you set foot on the site. Both Darren and Helen are the perfect hosts, welcoming couples and their families to share their farm with them and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The majority of staff who work at Coton House Farm have been there a long time and are treated as family, with everyone taking pride in helping to make the main event very special.
“We aim for the highest of standards, providing excellence, integrity, service, quality, honesty and value, charm and cheekiness. We hold these as our core values.”
The wedding venue prides itself on offering a simple pricing structure to allow couples to maintain control over the all-important budget, and offers venue hire, with food and beverage packages combined, to keep everything nice and simple.
“We know that weddings are expensive and things begin to add up very quickly when planning your day. Sometimes keeping to your budget, and still see your dreams come to life can be tricky, so we want to ensure that our couples know their costs upfront, as soon as they have chosen their wedding package.”
All couples-to-be are walked through the venue and planning process and the team discuss exactly how they would like the day to flow, so that as much of the pressure can be alleviated as possible, leaving the happy couple to concentrate on enjoying their day and making memories.
“So many wedding venues lose that personal touch when they become blueprints for each other. We saw an opportunity to offer something different at Coton House Farm – a far more individual experience, where our couples can bring their own personalities into the details. No two weddings are ever the same here, and that’s what we wanted to create.”
Darren Martin
“We love getting to know the couples we work with, understanding their personalities and helping to bring their ideas to life. We feel very honoured to be part of their wedding day”.
